From the days that we first met Katie when she starred in the hit TV show, “Dawson's Creek” we saw her as a young girl, still trying to work out who she was and lived live relaxed and free and her long brown hair with the relaxed and loose curls was every bit identical to her personality.

As she moved on from the young actress to the new bride, we saw a new look in Katie Holmes with her experimenting more with different styles. Stood by Tom Cruises' side we saw a beautiful young lady with her hair slicked back in an elegant style that made her appear to be the perfect “Stepford Wife”

As time went by, we saw more and more experimenting with the hair, and it getting shorter and shorter, following Victoria Beckham's short “Pob” and then the more recent Pixie look, still following a trend but trying to make it her own, especially following some bad press over what Tom Cruise expected from her as a wife as well as the Scientology cult that she was reported to be following.

Katie Holmes has been a plethora of knowledge recently, gently showing us the do's and don'ts with some amazing, and also hideous outfits. However, she always seems to look great, no matter what she is wearing, and you often have to wonder how she manages to pull it off!

Having a world famous husband, gorgeous baby girl and a booming bank budget helps, of course, but with her recent get up of oversized glasses, tailored suits and gorgeous shoes, she is becoming a style icon in her own right.

She has lost weight since her Dawson's Creek days, and this has helped her massively, moving her from the category of girl-next-door to sophisticated lady. Never really going for the full on fashion look, she seems to get it right, despite the occasional messy outfit, and her outfits are timeless, from the tailored white spot she was spotted with Victoria Beckham in, to the fantastic ocean blue dress she wore in one of her appearances with her now husband, Tom Cruise.
